SUMMARY

Processing of warehouse materials including operation of Lamp Machine forklifts and other equipment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate the Process 200B lamp Processing machine using PPE including respirator. 

  • Sort batteries by type

  • Sort and label electronic waste for shipment to vendors. 

  • Short, strip and ship copper and aluminum wire. 

  • Assisting customers and drivers with unloading as required. 

  • Operate forklift.

  • Substitute route truck driver duties including loading and unloading materials picked up for processing. 

  • Have paperwork filled out neatly and accurately with customer signatures. 

  • Maintain current and valid driver’s license. 

  • Report any repairs or maintenance needed on equipment. 

  • Responsible for maintaining the proper labeling and sorting of the batteries, E waste and ballas waste streams. 

  • Promotes safe work practices for drivers and other warehouse personnel. 

  • Assists in the house keeping and processing machine maintenance. 

  • Assists with walk in customers. 

  • Ensure timely paperwork flow of BOLS and other information to improve billing cycles.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Must be able to frequently lift and or move up to 75lbs. Frequently required to sit stand walk and use hands. 

  • Must have forklift knowledge and experience. 

  • Must possess basic math skills add subtract multiply and divide with ease in all units of measure. 

  • Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, safety rules, and manuals. Must be able to write routine reports. Must be able to communicate with customers and coworkers. 

  • Able to work independently while supporting an overall team mentality.
