SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our Warehouse team in Somerset! In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure products and materials are received, processed, and loaded for transport with the highest level of accuracy and care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a problem-solving attitude!  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving & Unloading

  • Unload incoming shipments and check for accuracy against shipping documents

  • Inspect shipments and waste materials for damage

  • Properly label and store received goods and waste materials

 

Shipping

  • Prepare materials for shipping and verify proper waste materials and quantities are present, along with any accompanying paperwork/shipping documents

  • Load waste materials for shipment into trailers, ensuring waste materials are properly secured for transport

  • Generate shipping labels and/or documents when necessary

 

Processing and Storing

  • Perform disposal/recycling processes for waste materials

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and monitor inventory levels

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory

 

Other General Duties

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

  • Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

  • Assist customers with waste material drop offs as needed

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Basic computer skills or ability to learn new systems is preferred

  • Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse functions is a plus

  • Mechanical and/or boiler knowledge is a plus

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
